Surveillance Investigator

You would be joining our team as a professional Surveillance Investigator, conducting surveillance pertaining to claims inclusive of workers’ compensation, general liability, auto liability, as well as PIP (uninsured motorist) under easily accessible direct supervision and an experienced network of resources.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
As a Surveillance Investigator, you will need to:
- Be well-organized with strong internet skills
- Possess exceptional note-taking skills
- Have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and potentially holidays
- Be an individual our team can rely on for punctuality
- Identify yourself as self-motivated and detail oriented
- Have the ability to utilize professional-grade videographic devices
- Have the ability to compile all surveillance findings into report format utilizing dictation technology
- Reside in the state of Michigan, preferably within the Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, Livingston, Genessee or Ingham County area
Legal Qualifications:
All applicants must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
Surveillance Investigators at Data Surveys, Inc. are required to surveil individuals involved in workers’ compensation and other insurance claims areas for fraud prevention purposes. You will be given access to a company-owned surveillance vehicle, spending five to six days a week in the field securing video footage which documents those individuals’ daily activities and determining their employment status.
