You would be joining our team as a professional Michigan Insurance Claims Investigator, investigating claims inclusive of workers’ compensation, general liability, disability, property and casualty, auto liability, PIP (uninsured motorist), life and healthcare, as well as subrogation under easily accessible direct supervision and an experienced network of resources.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
As an Insurance Claims Investigator, you will need to:
- Be well-organized with strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Chrome
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to speak with others comfortably
- Have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Be an individual our team can rely on for punctuality
- Identify yourself as a self-starter and detail oriented
- Possess exceptional composition skills fit for a professional environment
- Have the ability to compile all investigative findings into report format utilizing dictation technology
- Reside in the state of Michigan, preferably within the Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, Livingston, Genessee or Ingham County area
Legal Qualifications:
All applicants must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
Insurance Claims Investigators at Data Surveys, Inc. are required to utilize their own personal vehicles for any necessary road travel throughout the week. Your vehicle needs to be properly registered, insured and reliable. You will typically find yourself traveling to handle cases in the southeast/mid-Michigan area. Data Surveys, Inc. provides mileage reimbursement.
